Immersive Creative Thinking Workshop hosted by Montclair State University, New Jersey, USA

Detailed Description

This immersive 4-week residential workshop will explore the field of creative thinking, the definition, theory, and practical application of creativity. Students will engage in discussions, readings, and exercises that will illustrate the concepts associated with creativity. Guest speakers will introduce concepts and skills related to photojournalism and to audio production that will assist in the students’ final projects. The workshop will culminate in a final presentation that will incorporate the cross-cultural experience of travel with creative expressions of writing, movement, sound, and video projections.

Practical workshops will be complimented by cultural and social activity in and around Montclair, New Jersey and Manhattan, New York State.
