Superstar crime author, Stuart MacBride, has brought his cartoon character Skeleton Bob to life in a hilarious (and terrifying) new book, The Completely Wholesome Adventures of Skeleton Bob. The book was created specially to raise funds for the Million for A Morgue Campaign, which Stuart has been a stalwart supporter of since it opened.
Stuart originally drew the first Skeleton Bob story for his nephew, and has since talked about his exploits at his many public appearances but this is the first time Bob has featuredin his very own book.
There are three stories to feast your eyes upon, each funnier than the last – Skeleton Bob's First Day at School, Skeleton Bob and The Witches Hat and Skeleton Bob's Bedtime Story. It's the perfect Christmas gift for anyone who wants to find out more about Bob, a with a pink knitted jumper and a penchant for trouble!
All monies raised from the original work will be donated to the Million for a Morgue campaign.
When he's not making stuff up about wee skeletons with pink woolen skin, Stuart MacBride can normally be found writing crime novels set in the north east of Scotland. His Logan McRae series - set in Aberdeen - and the standalone BIRTHDAYS FOR THE DEAD have made him a number one Sunday Times bestseller and won him some awards too.
He lives in the north-east of Scotland with his wife, cat, and more weeds than you can shake a stick at. Seriously: MILLIONS of them!
